ALSO worked with Sarah and Ben, the pastry and bread geniuses behind Loaf Lounge, a new bakery and café in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago. Our job was to create an identity system and print materials for the restaurant. We took inspiration from two very different sources — loungey lava lamp blobs and crumb (the pattern of holes inside baked goods.) The concept combined the bakers’ technical skill and expertise with their easy-going, don’t-take-yourself-too-seriously personalities.
