Monnie Burke’s is a modern American restaurant in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. The inspiration behind the name, Monnie Burke, is the owner’s aunt — a quintessential Chicagoan, with a flair for politics, travel and style. The elegant interior matches her classic aesthetic and the visual identity does the same. Based on old family photos, the menus, business cards, coasters, and postcards highlight moments of Monnie’s life through illustration. She’s seen staring out over Lake Michigan, at her desk at Loyola University, and sunning on the beach. The identity is approachable and welcoming, just like Monnie Burke.
